Reach forklift operative (freezer environment)

We are currently recruiting for a Reach Forklift Operative on behalf of our client, a well-established food wholesale business based in Newton Abbot. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who holds a valid, in-date Reach Forklift Truck licence and is comfortable working within a freezer environment. Duties will include: Operating a Reach Forklift Truck to move stock safely and efficiently Picking, moving and replenishing stock within the warehouse Assisting with the loading of delivery vehicles General warehouse duties as required Working as part of a team to ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time Please note this role will involve a mixture of forklift and non-forklift duties. Requirements: Valid, in-date Reach Forklift Truck licence (essential) Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred Comfortable working in a freezer environment Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic Ability to undertake both forklift and manual warehouse tasks Due to the site's location and the 22:00 finish time, public transport is not available when the shift ends. Please still contact us if you do not have transport, as dependant on where you reside, this may not be an issue.
