We're looking for a Procurement Manager to join our joint venture with BAM Nuttall based at Hinkley Point C. Location : Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required Hours : 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Responsibilities As a Procurement Manager, you'll be working with the head of supply chain to drive and ensure the strategic plan for the business unit is driven at framework level, ensuring procurement polices of both Kier Group and the joint venture are adhered to. Your day to day will include: Developing and owning preferred suppliers and strategic partnerships to deliver best value for all parties Supporting audit requirements from both internal/external Kier audits whilst carrying out supply chain audits on a regular basis Ensuring suppliers and/or subcontractors have the relevant health and safety accreditation and sustainability and carbon reduction policies that align to Kier's standards Managing budget costs and negotiating with all parties to ensure value for money What are we looking for? This role of Procurement Manager is great for you if: Educated to at least HNC/HND level in a construction discipline and professional membership with construction industry Senior level experience in supply chain procurement in a similar role within a complex project with experience of cost and time savings Proven self-management, communication, and IT skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with client representatives, supply chain, and others We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
