Finance Experts – AI Financial Modeling Project (Remote, Contract)
We’ve partnered with an AI-driven technology company developing advanced modeling and analytics systems that combine human financial expertise with artificial intelligence. The company is building financial modeling systems that rely on expert human judgment to review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated financial outputs.
We’re looking for experienced Finance Professionals to join the team as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You’ll play a key role in shaping and validating the next generation of AI financial models by applying your analytical, modeling, and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, assess, and create financial models to support AI model training and validation
* Provide structured analytical feedback to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial models
* Apply financial reasoning and judgment to ensure models align with real-world logic and best practices
* Collaborate with technical and data science teams to improve model performance and decision-making capabilities
Ideal Qualifications
* Experience: 2-10+ years in Finance, Accounting, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Financial Modeling roles
* Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline
* Skills: Strong financial analysis, valuation, forecasting, and Excel proficiency
* Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, structured thinker, and clear communicator
* Nice to Have: Experience building models from scratch or reviewing models for quality and assumptions
Project Details
* Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing
* Engagement: Contractor (hourly, remote)
* Rate: $45–$47/hour USD
* Preferred Location: UK
* Hours: Flexible – part-time to full-time depending on project phase
Onboarding Process
The onboarding process is structured into four steps to ensure smooth integration:
* Initial Task (Unpaid): 20-minute analytical modeling exercise (Pass/Fail)
* Introductory Call (Unpaid): 20-minute call introducing the company and project scope
* Deep-Dive Task (Paid): <2-hour modeling task assessing modeling skills and reasoning
* Final Review (Unpaid): Discussion of your approach and submission for final evaluation
