Job Title: Deputy Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in line with regulatory standards and best practice. You will provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical operations of the home.
Take responsibility for clinical governance and manage the service in the absence of the Home Manager.
Ensure care delivery meets CQC requirements and aligns with company policies and procedures.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and supervision to nurses and care staff.
Conduct clinical audits and ensure high standards of care.
Review, update, and oversee care plans to meet residents’ needs.
Oversee medication management and ensure accurate documentation and record keeping.
Support pre-admission assessments, risk assessments, and ongoing evaluations of residents.
Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents’ families, and external agencies to maintain continuity of care.Skills & Attributes:
Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and deliver excellent care.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and referral pathways for adult protection.
Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals, families, visitors, and staff teams.
Ability to promote ownership of care programs by involving residents and families in care planning and evaluation.Education & Qualifications:
