Overview
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity are the official charity of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT). The charity raises, manages and distributes funds on behalf of CHFT to enhance and support patient care/experience and provide funding for projects, initiatives and equipment that are over and above the remit of NHS funding. We are here to bring moments of joy, comfort and hope to those who need it most and to push the limits of what is possible where the NHS is unable to.
We support CHFT to identify ways to make a positive difference to patient experience and fund items which matter most to patients and staff, working with CHFT colleagues to deliver a positive donor experience that champions the charity’s values and ethos. The charity operates under the NHS Foundation Trust corporate trusteeship, with a Charitable Funds Committee (CFC) to manage day-to-day operations.
