About The Role
We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our expanding team based at our site in Barton-upon-Humber. The candidate will work 5 days a week Monday to Friday from 15:30 until 00:00.
Salary: £34,750.00 + £1000 Late Shift Allowance + Quarterly Bonus up to £750
Main responsibilities:
* Setting and clearly communicating goals and deadlines for performance in line with the company’s plans and visions
* Assessing staffing resources and effectively organise workflow to ensure all tasks within the department are carried out by a competent member of the team and to the highest standard
* Coordinating cross-training within the department, monitoring training requirements and implement training as required
* Monitor timekeeping and absences, escalating to management where required
* Assess and review staff performance, offering feedback, both constructive and positive, to support the professional development of team members
* Monitor and enforce quality standards within the team to meet quality objectives, reporting any issues to management
* Ensuring daily operation of equipment by monitoring performance and calling for repairs as required, evaluating new equipment and techniques
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedures relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
About You
Desired skills & knowledge:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing management position.
* Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety standard and compliance.
* Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office.
* Flexibility, commitment and punctuality.
* Ability to cope working under pressure.
