Overview
This role involves the day-to-day running of a medical records team, booking patients for outpatient and inpatient clinics. Health records library functions, along with general administration duties. The post holder will be involved in reception duties, registering and documenting new patients, booking appointments, requesting case notes from the health records library, prepping clinics. The role requires an organised, motivated individual who works well within a team and as an individual.
Responsibilities
* Registration and documentation of new patients
* Reception duties
* Requesting/locating case notes from the filing system as required
* Maintenance of appointment system
* Maintenance of daily clinical work sheets
* Maintenance of waiting lists
* Provision of statistical information for Managers as required
* Care and repair of case note folders
* Maintenance of accurate tracker system of case histories
Requirements / Qualifications
* Organised, motivated individual who works well within a team and independently
