Science Teacher - Macclesfield
We are working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Macclesfield, seeking a Science Teacher to join their team. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 & 4 science from ASAP, on an ongoing, full-time basis, likely for the full academic year.
You will need to fully engage with the department, attend meetings, and be available for parents’ evenings as required. The role involves delivering engaging and academically appropriate lessons that challenge students.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school that prioritizes students' well-being in a warm, happy, and safe environment. The school celebrates its diverse culture with events like a culture day and encourages student responsibility through roles such as school council, prefect, or librarian. The school fosters a strong community spirit with initiatives like a ‘community fridge’. Leadership continually raises expectations, leading to school-wide improvements. The school also supports staff development through ongoing CPD.
The role is open to both newly qualified teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers. Salary ranges from M1 to M6, with potential for threshold pay depending on experience.
