Branch Clinical Nursing Manager Cromwell Vets – Huntingdon Area Rota:Full-time, 40 hours per week Starting salary: £36,500 per year Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse ready to step into a senior leadership role where you can truly shape nursing standards and develop a high-performing team? We are now seeking a Branch Clinical Nursing Manager (CNM) to play a pivotal role in leading and developing our nursing team, with a particular focus on embedding nursing excellence across our branches. The Role This is a senior, hands-on leadership position combining clinical work with protected management time. You will work closely with the Clinical Director, Group Nursing Manager, another CNM, and the wider Linnaeus Nursing Community to deliver outstanding patient care and consistent nursing standards across the practice. You will: • Lead, coach and mentor RVNs, SVNs and PCAs • Line manage Lead Nurses and Branch Nurses • Maintain and develop consistent SOPs across branches • Oversee nursing standards across all clinical areas • Support CPD planning, training and professional development • Lead on governance, quality and clinical safety within nursing • Ensure effective communication, workflow and team engagement • Maintain a consistent approach to drug and consumables ordering • Work clinically alongside your team, leading by example You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of nursing at Cromwell, influencing both day-to-day practice and long-term strategy.
