When someone leaves a business after more than a decade, it says a lot about the company they’re leaving behind. In this case, it’s simply a case of someone moving on with the very best wishes – and it creates an exciting opportunity for a new Marketing Manager to step in and lead the next chapter.
We’re working with a long-established and highly respected B2B eCommerce and manufacturing group with a history spanning almost 60 years. Made up of four companies, the group operates largely within the technology side of the personalisation sector and has built a strong reputation within its market.
The Role
Reporting into the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will lead and develop the in-house marketing team while overseeing marketing activity across the wider group.
While the role covers the full marketing mix, there is a strong focus on digital and eCommerce performance day to day.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing an in-house marketing team
* Managing and delivering the overall marketing strategy across the group
* Owning the digital and eCommerce roadmap, improving website performance and customer experience
* Delivering key initiatives including platform upgrades, integrations and experimentation
* Planning and managing brand campaign calendars
* Overseeing distributor co-marketing activity to ensure consistent messaging
* Working with external agencies on SEO and PPC, including tracking, optimisation and reporting
* Collaborating closely with product development teams to support new launches and innovation
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a well-rounded marketer who understands the full marketing mix but has a real strength within digital.
You’ll ideally bring:
* Strong experience within a digital or eCommerce‑led marketing environment
* A background within B2B marketing
* Experience managing websites, digital performance and online customer journeys
* Confidence working with SEO, PPC, CRM systems and social media
* Strong analytical skills with a passion for tracking, optimisation and performance analysis
* Experience managing people and working with multiple internal stakeholders
What’s On Offer
This is a business known for looking after its people, reflected in its excellent staff retention.
* Hybrid working (primarily office based with one day from home)
* The opportunity to lead marketing within an established and growing group of companies
