We are seeking reliable and customer‑focused Customer Delivery Assistants to support home delivery and installation teams on an ad‑hoc basis, including weekend work. This hands‑on role involves assisting with the safe delivery, installation, and demonstration of household electrical products while ensuring customers receive a friendly and professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate products such as white goods, televisions, and cookers.
* Provide excellent customer service, keeping customers informed throughout each visit.
* Use handheld devices accurately to log deliveries and obtain signatures.
* Maintain regular communication with the depot regarding route updates or changes.
* Handle and move products safely, following all manual‑handling and health & safety guidelines.
* Secure and adjust vehicle loads throughout the day using provided equipment.
* Follow all site, safety, and compliance procedures.
* Support the movement of stock and tote boxes between retail sites when required.
Skills & Experience:
* Strong customer service skills and confidence communicating in customers' homes.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks.
* Calm, practical problem‑solver with strong attention to detail.
* Willingness to learn and complete required training.
Additional Requirements
* Ad‑hoc availability, including weekends, is essential.
* A Basic DBS check will be required.
* Random drug & alcohol testing may be carried out in line with safety procedures.
* Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role.
Shift pattern:
* 7am to finish
Pay rates:
* £12.27 p/h
