 
        
        Band 7 Clinical Psychologist
Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust – Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead (North London)
We are looking for a recently qualified (or soon to be qualified) Clinical Psychologist to work in physical health or neuropsychology. This internal promotion offers a supportive, friendly team, opportunities to develop neuropsychological assessment skills and CPD within neuropsychology, clinical health and neurology pathways.
Responsibilities:
 * Provide neuropsychological assessment and brief interventions for patients with congenital, developmental, acquired, progressive and degenerative conditions.
 * Assist with differential diagnosis and treatment planning.
 * Develop and deliver group interventions drawing on therapeutic models to support adjustment after neurological injury or diagnosis.
 * Support the delivery of new service pathways in neurology priority areas (headache, epilepsy, etc.).
 * Teach and train staff; contribute to CPD portfolio.
 * Participate in and drive forward clinical research within the department.
 * Occasional inpatient work and brief intervention models within neurology pathways at RFL.
Qualifications & Experience:
 * Clinical Psychologist, diplomas or recent qualification in clinical psychology.
 * Strong interest and experience in neuropsychological assessment.
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
 * Desire to develop further specialist knowledge in neurology and related pathways.
Clinical supervision is provided by experienced senior Clinical Psychologists/Clinical Neuropsychologists. Funding and supervision are available towards entry onto the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SRCN). Links with North Thames DClinPsy training courses are encouraged.
