Are you a data-driven problem solver who enjoys making systems work smarter? We are seeking a Data and Process Transformation Officer to join our Estates Directorate at the University of Suffolk.
This role is central to ensuring that the Estates team operates with clarity, efficiency, and impact. You will lead the development of high-quality data insights, dashboards and reporting tools that inform strategic decisions, support workforce planning and enhance service delivery. Acting as the directorate's subject matter expert for digital systems and data processes, you will help us modernise workflows, automate manual tasks and embed continuous improvement across the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Develop and deliver accurate, timely dashboards and management reports to track Estates performance and inform operational planning.
* Act as the Estates Directorate lead for digital systems and data integrity, ensuring our processes are efficient, consistent, and future-ready.
* Work with IT partners and system providers to enhance digital tools, streamline workflows and embed automation in areas such as service requests, onboarding, and estates-related forms.
* Provide training and guidance to colleagues, building digital confidence and capability in tools such as Power BI and Power Automate.
* Lead initiatives to improve data quality, integrating insights from multiple systems and supporting institutional audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
* Champion digital innovation, helping to embed analytics into decision-making and supporting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the Estates team.
* Support the development and maintenance of the Estates SharePoint site to ensure consistent access to key information.
* Represent the Estates Directorate in cross-university digital transformation groups and sector forums.
* Comply with all university policies, including data protection, equality and diversity, and health and safety.

The Estates Directorate manages and develops the University's physical environment, ranging from facilities management to the capital projects that underpin the University's strategic ambitions. You will join a forward-looking and collaborative Directorate committed to delivering excellent services and supporting the evolving needs of the University community.
