We are looking for a psychological practitioner, clinical psychologist, or family therapist to support the team in delivering the latest evidence-based treatment to children and young people with an eating disorder. We seek an individual with the expertise and skills to work as part of a multi-professional team and to be innovative in supporting this client group.
About the Service
North East London NHS Foundation Trust Community Eating Disorder service offers the latest evidence-based, NICE-compliant psychological interventions to clients and their families with an eating disorder. We provide specialist assessment and treatment across the lifespan from age 8 years, with no upper age limit.
Team Approach and Support
The multidisciplinary approach to assessment and treatment is a strength of our service. The post involves working with children, young people, and their caregivers. We offer supervision, training, and support for clinicians, including individual and group supervision, safeguarding, and reflective practice sessions.
Location and Facilities
The team is based in Barking, with satellite clinics in Walthamstow and Havering. The location offers excellent transport links and free secure parking.

Candidate Requirements
* Doctorate in Clinical Counselling Psychology or MSc in Family Therapy
* Experience in exercising full clinical responsibility within a multidisciplinary care plan
* Experience in assessing and treating service users with evidence-based psychological interventions
