About The Role
We’re looking for a SCADA Systems Engineer to design and deliver high-quality supervisory control and visualisation systems for complex industrial applications.
This role focuses on how systems are monitored, controlled, and understood—covering operator interfaces, data visualisation, alarm management, and system integration.
You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning, playing a key role in delivering intuitive, reliable, and data-driven SCADA and HMI solutions/platforms.
This is ideal for a mid-level engineer looking to deepen their expertise in SCADA/HMI platforms and progress toward a senior position with greater technical ownership.

What You’ll Be Doing
6. Design and develop SCADA systems, including:
7. System architecture (client-server / distributed systems)
8. Communications (OPC UA/DA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
9. Develop high-quality HMI interfaces:
10. Intuitive screen design and navigation
11. Process visualisation and mimic diagrams
12. Consistent UI/UX standards for operator usability
13. Configure and manage, Alarm systems (prioritisation, rationalisation, diagnostics)
14. Configure and integrate SCADA/HMI platforms such as: Rockwell FactoryTalk/FactoryTalk View,Schneider Citect/Vijeo Designer, Siemens WinCC, AVEVA / Wonderware
15. Work closely with control systems engineers to integrate PLC data into SCADA systems
16. System configuration and integration, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Commissioning
17. Produce high-quality technical documentation (design specs, test docs, user manuals)

Here's What You'll Need:
18. Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
19. Experience developing SCADA/HMI systems in industrial environments
20. Experience with one or more SCADA platforms ( FactoryTalk, Citect, WinCC, Wonderware/AVEVA etc)
21. Understanding of industrial communications (OPC, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
22. Experience with alarm handling, diagnostics, and system monitoring
23. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
24. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams

25. Hybrid working (typically 2–3 days per week in the office, depending on project needs)
