Join to apply for the Academic English Teacher role at CATS Global Schools. Our English Teachers are welcomed into our friendly, professional English teaching team at Stafford House School, based centrally in the historic city of Cambridge. You will teach EFL and EAP English classes, with the potential to teach exam classes as well. You will deliver EFL and EAP English courses to CSVPA students. These are Academic English courses, developing the students English skills to succeed in IELTS and to go on to be successful university students. In addition to delivering lessons for the CSVPA students, you may at times be timetabled for classes on the year-round, Stafford House language school programmes.
Responsibilities
* Teach EFL and EAP English courses for CSVPA students; potential to teach exam classes
* Deliver lessons for the CSVPA courses and support students to develop IELTS-ready English
* May be timetabled for classes on the Stafford House language school programmes
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent
* CELTA or equivalent (essential)
* DELTA or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience of English for Academic Purposes (preferred)
* Experience of teaching for exam preparation (preferred)
* Experience of teaching using Interactive Whiteboards (Promethean)
* Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
* Experience of working with under 18s. When teaching on the Stafford House language school programme, some classes may be for young students from age 12 and so must be adapted accordingly.
