We are recruiting for a globally established engineering manufacturer supplying high-value automated heavy engineering systems across Europe. This is a consultative, project-led sales role managing complex equipment solutions typically valued up to and exceeding £3M.

Engineering Sales Manager
£40,000 Basic + £15K-£25K Bonus + £5K Car Allowance + 33 Days Holiday + Pension

Responsibilities
* As Engineering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a defined territory across the UK and Europe. You will work closely with a range of clients and internal engineering teams, identifying opportunities, understanding technical requirements, and delivering tailored equipment solutions.
* Generating new business and developing existing accounts
* Visiting customers to understand technical requirements
* Preparing detailed quotations and proposals
* Managing negotiations and closing capital equipment sales
* Acting as the main technical and commercial contact for customers
* Working collaboratively with internal engineering teams
* Monitoring orders through to delivery
* Maintaining strong after-sales relationships
The Person
* Formal Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
* Proven experience in capital equipment sales
* Strong project management capability
* Experience managing a territory
* Consultative selling approach
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Comfortable managing long sales cycles
