Key Responsibilities
Support young people in developing positive relationships and reaching their full potential
Lead shifts and serve as a positive role model within the home
Promote a person-centred, therapeutic approach to care
Work collaboratively with education, therapy, and management teams
Participate in the management on-call rota
Requirements
Minimum 12 months’ experience in a children’s residential care setting
QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People or equivalent
Experience in leading or supporting a staff team
Full UK manual driving licence (company car provided during work hours)
Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends
Willingness to join the management on-call system
Proficiency in using electronic care recording systems; experience with systems such as Clearcare is advantageous, but full training will be provided
