We are looking for a highly analytical and business-focused Business Data Analyst to support data-driven transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights, scalable solutions, and high-quality data-driven outcomes. You will play a key role in enabling better decision-making through robust analysis, reporting, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document business and data requirements
* Translate complex requirements into functional specifications, user stories, data mappings, and reporting definitions
* Perform data analysis, profiling, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
* Support the design and delivery of analytics solutions and enterprise data platforms
* Work closely with data engineers, architects, and QA teams to support data integration, testing, and UAT activities
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
* Conduct gap analysis, root cause analysis, and trend analysis to provide actionable business insights
* Contribute to data governance, data quality, and data lineage initiatives
* Ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture, standards, and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
* Extensive experience working as a Business Data Analyst in enterprise environments
* Strong expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven transformation programmes
* Proven ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical solutions
* Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis techniques
* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and modern data warehouses
* Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance frameworks
* Experience building insightful dashboards and reports to support decision-making
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
* Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional, Agile delivery environments
