The Private Wealth Management (PWM) business within the division provides comprehensive Investment Management services and advice across various asset classes for very high net worth individuals. PWM leverages a global technology platform offering an integrated suite of tools and applications to service clients. This platform helps realize client goals, develop, and implement integrated wealth management plans, and deliver first-class client service.

Private Wealth Management
The PWM business offers end-to-end Investment Management services and advice across a broad range of asset classes for high-net-worth individuals. Leveraging a global technology platform, our software helps clients connect with Goldman Sachs, develop, and execute wealth plans, and receive top-tier service. The successful candidate will join the global PWM Digital Client Experience Team, developing digital solutions to enhance client engagement and streamline workflows.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
This role is for a “JAVA AWS Engineer” involving work across AWS, Java micro-services, Spring, and MongoDB. It requires familiarity with deploying scalable cloud applications using AWS services like ECS, EC2, Lambda, and a deep understanding of AWS architecture, distributed systems, testing, monitoring, reporting, and the SDLC process.
You will work with a team of engineers to build a digital platform for PWM, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to evolve the platform.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
* Experience with AWS, Cloud Services, Java, Spring, and NoSQL technologies like MongoDB
* Knowledge of micro-services, Java deployment, and DevOps tools such as Gitlab
* Understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
* Goal-oriented with strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Analytical, problem-solving skills
* Team player with experience working in global teams
* Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills
