A rapidly growing national automotive service provider is looking for an experienced Mobile EV & Diagnostic Master Technician to support its network of Autocentres across the Midlands and surrounding areas.The company operates a large network of fast-fit and automotive service centres across the UK, specialising in tyres, servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs. With a strong reputation for efficient service, high workshop standards, and customer-focused solutions, the business continues to expand and invest in its technical capabilities.This role is heavily mobile and field-based, providing advanced diagnostic support to multiple Autocentres. You will travel between sites using a fully equipped company vehicle, helping technicians resolve complex faults and ensuring vehicles are repaired quickly and correctly.The position is ideal for a Master Technician who enjoys variety, independence, and technical problem-solving, working on a wide range of vehicles including EV, hybrid, petrol, and diesel models. No two days will be the same as you assist different workshops, tackle challenging diagnostics, and help raise technical standards across the network.

The Role As a Mobile EV & Diagnostic Master Technician, you will act as a technical specialist supporting multiple workshops, travelling between sites to assist with complex diagnostics and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
* Travel between Autocentres across the Midlands to provide diagnostic and technical support
* Carry out advanced diagnostics on EV, petrol, and diesel vehicles
* Diagnose and resolve engine management, emissions, DPF, turbo, and drivability faults
* Support workshop teams with complex technical cases and difficult faults
* Provide remote technical advice when required
* Investigate customer concerns and provide clear technical explanations
* Carry out high-quality servicing and repairs where necessary
* Ensure all work meets high technical and safety standards
About You
* Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
* Strong background in vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
* Experience using Autel or similar diagnostic equipment
* Comfortable working independently in a mobile field role
* Strong communication skills when supporting workshop teams
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Ideally based within commuting distance of Northampton / Kettering
