We’re looking for somebody to take up a Service Manager / Home Manager role overseeing the day-to-day delivery of care and support within an Outstanding Care Home for people with learning and physical disabilities.

The Service Manager Role
Working closely with the Area Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the home ensuring that regulatory requirements are met across each of the services. Your focus is on managing the teams who deliver care within the care home and ensuring that high-quality person centred support is consistently provided.
* You’ll develop a team of team leaders and support workers that support them, ensuring that everyone is motivated and feels supported in their roles.
* Ensuring through auditing that all care documentation is up to date and is reflective of each individual’s needs
* Dealing with any safeguarding

An experienced Deputy Manager / Service Manager looking to develop themselves and take on greater responsibility. Or an experienced Registered Manager who wants a role that is more focussed on the services that are delivered to people, rather than the commercial elements that many RM posts have. You’ll working in a high-quality service and is always looking for ways to drive service delivery higher
Experience of working in either supported living or residential care for people with learning disabilities.
You’ll need to hold or be working towards a care management qualification such as NVQ 4 or QCF 5.
