This company has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months and has ambitious plans for continued expansion. As part of this growth journey, they are now looking to strengthen their operational leadership by appointing a talented and driven Operations Manager to join their team. The Role The Operations Manager will be responsible in overseeing all day-to-day operational activities including stock management, supplier purchasing, inbound logistics, goods receiving, and outbound dispatch. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring experience in a fast-paced distribution environment and a passion for driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the business including purchasing, stores, logistics, and dispatch Oversee stock control and procurement to ensure timely availability of stock Lead logistics and warehouse functions to ensure accurate goods-in and goods-out processes Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service levels Liaise with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations Coordinate and support the team to ensure seamless logistics and delivery performance Candidate Requirements Proven experience in an operational leadership role within a distribution-based business (minimum 3 years) Strong background in logistics and stock management Ability to improve processes and deliver operational efficiencies Excellent people management and team leadership skills What We Offer Competitive salary, based on experience Key leadership role in a growing, ambitious company Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08.30 17.00 Friday 08.30 16.00 Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Location: Eglinton For further information on this fantastic, local vacancy, please contact Kevin on or forward a CV using the link below.
