Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring efficient service delivery
* Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
* Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
* Prepare ingredients and dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
* Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and place orders as needed
* Train new team members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols
* Support the development of new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment
* Strong background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
* Excellent team management and leadership skills to motivate staff effectively
* In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
