Overview
As a Support Worker for the Waking Nights Respite Service at Cedar House, based in Lincolnshire, PE11 1QF, you will embody our core values of Kind Hearts, Tailor Making, Dreaming Big, Having Courage and Being Ready. You will provide exceptional care and unwavering support to service users, particularly those with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviour that challenges. This role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the service, including attending training during daytime hours. Evenings and nights will focus on meaningful support that makes a difference in the lives of the people we serve. You will provide personal care, administer medication, conduct security checks and assist with domestic tasks, creating an environment of warmth and care where service users feel seen and valued.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support during waking nights for service users with learning disabilities and complex needs.
* Administer medication in accordance with policy and training.
* Conduct security checks and maintain a safe living environment.
* Assist with domestic tasks and daily living activities as required.
* Adapt approach to each individual’s needs to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Salary: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 30 hours weekly
