Key Responsibilities:
Execute a diverse range of painting and decorating assignments with precision and finesse, ensuring exceptional results tailored to the hotels aesthetic standards.
Prepare surfaces (walls, ceilings, woodwork) by cleaning, sanding, and priming; apply paint, varnish, or wallpaper to a high standard.
Perform minor repairs to walls, woodwork, and other surfaces, Select appropriate paints and materials to match design standards.
Perform physical tasks, including bending, climbing, and handling objects of varying size and weight.
Work closely with the maintenance and housekeeping teams to schedule painting and decorating tasks, minimizing disruption to guests.
Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with team members to foster collaboration.
Our Successful Hotel Painter and Decorator Will Have:
Previous experience as a painter and decorator.
Practical skills in painting, decorating, and surface preparation.
High standards of grooming and a positive work attitude.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating, including the use of PPE and safe handling of materials
