Financial Controller - £80,000 - £100,000 - London
CMC Consulting are partnering with an exciting, fast-growing Tech business that is entering a crucial phase of its scale-up journey. As part of their continued expansion, they are now looking to recruit their very first senior finance hire, a role that will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the organisation and driving its next stage of growth.
This is a standout opportunity to join a high-growth technology company as a genuine strategic partner. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will help define financial strategy, build scalable processes, and establish the financial infrastructure needed to support rapid expansion.
Roles & Responsibilities :
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations.
* Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting, including forecasts and variance analysis, to provide leadership with clear financial insights.
* Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors across relevant jurisdictions to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
* Support annual budget cycles and contribute to long-term strategic financial planning.
* Design and implement scalable financial systems, controls, and reporting tools, ensuring processes keep pace with business growth.
* Manage core financial processes including banking, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and employee expense reporting.
* Drive process improvement through automation and adoption of new financial tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Skills & Experience :
* Proven experience within a similar role and industry
* ACA/CA/ACCA/ACMA fully Qualified with relevant post qualification experience
* Strong Excel and systems skills
