Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team Manager - South Warwickshire 6 month FTC / Secondment
1 WTE (37.5 hours per week)
Full time role based in Leamington Spa and Stratford Upon Avon
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic manager to lead our Community Mental Health Team. You will be part of a management team including two other team managers, a clinical lead, deputy managers, Referral Team Manager and social care team managers to provide excellent evidence based care to adults across south Warwickshire with secondary care mental health needs. This team is proactive in utilising multidisciplinary roles to provide recovery and outcome focused interventions to service users, whilst meeting targets. The successful candidate will be an experienced mental health professional with knowledge and skills in leadership, managing staff, and be a team player committed to innovation and service development. The successful person will support the ongoing transformation of community mental health services. You will establish relationships and communication links with their local neighbourhoods and primary care networks. This role requires the ability to multitask; incorporating service development, operational and people management as well as ensuring that data quality and the meeting of targets. Excellent communication, technical and organisational skills are essential.
Responsibilities to include day-to-day management of the team, leadership and supervision of clinical staff, and a strong knowledge of health and social care policy relating to the delivery of mental health care. The team includes nurses, social workers, AMHPs, occupational therapists and psychologists, some of whom you will be expected to line manage directly. The service is split into Leamington Spa and Stratford areas with bases in each area; staff work across all bases as required. You will be responsible for a defined number of Primary Care Networks.

Job Description & Person Specification
Essential qualifications include a professional registration (e.g., RMN, DipCOT or equivalent) with current unrestricted HCPC/NMC registration. You should have substantial post-registration experience as a qualified professional, with recent experience in a secondary care mental health setting. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with possible occasional flexible hours to meet service user needs.
