MFL Teacher (French/Spanish) – Full-Time | County Durham | £170–£250 per day (paid to scale)
Do you love opening doors to new languages and cultures? We’re working with a County Durham secondary school that’s looking for a talented MFL Teacher (French and/or Spanish) to join their team from September.
The school places strong emphasis on MFL, encouraging students to see language learning as a skill for life.
Your Role:
Teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
Delivering lessons that make language learning fun, interactive, and accessible
Preparing pupils for GCSE success in MFL
Using creative approaches like role play, multimedia, and cultural studies to inspire learners
Working closely with department colleagues to share resources
What We’re Looking For:
QTS/QTLS with specialism in French and/or Spanish
UK-based teaching experience in MFL
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for cultural education
