We are looking for a highly passionate and competent professional to fill the position of UK MARKETING COORDINATOR on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Regional Sr Marketing Director and being part of our UK team at the Wisbech facility (Cambridgeshire), the UK Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for generating and managing all marketing projects related to the Del Monte brand for the categories of Fresh Prepared Fruits, Fresh Fruit & Long Shelf Life Foods & Beverages in the UK and Ireland.
The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Support NPD, product, and brand management for the categories.
2. Create and drive an in-store visibility strategy for the brand across all categories.
3. Coordinate with packaging, supply, and factory teams on key brand projects aligned with business objectives.
4. Organize and supervise key local consumer activities such as promotions and sponsorships (e.g., Lawn Tennis Association sponsorship and relevant brand ambassadors).
5. Coordinate communication, advertising, and social media activities with creative and media partners.
6. Handle marketing innovation projects, including e-commerce initiatives.
7. Report on insights from market and consumer data, including retail panel and category management data analysis.
8. Support sales requirements for local market customers, including trade presentations.
9. Manage the local marketing budget.
10. Be a key member of the regional and global marketing community of Fresh Del Monte.
Qualifications required:
1. Fluent in English (written and spoken) or native English speaker.
2. Degree in Marketing or Business Management with a specialization in Marketing/Sales.
3. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Sales, Trade Marketing, or Marketing.
4. Experience in the food industry is mandatory, preferably in an international FMCG company.
5. Experience interacting with the UK retail environment is also mandatory.
6. Proven track record in driving marketing programs and managing NPD projects successfully.
7. Experience in developing and executing advertising campaigns with a 360° approach.
