Clinical Nurse Specialist – Ambulatory

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist with highly developed knowledge, skills and clinical expertise in Ambulatory Care and Community Phlebotomy. The role will provide leadership, development and governance of the Ambulatory services working at our ambulatory units in Sidmouth and Tiverton.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide visible and accessible clinical leadership for clinical teams, operational colleagues, patients, and service users.
* Work closely with key colleagues to develop and lead Ambulatory services in East Devon.
* Oversee safer staffing within the teams and ensure adequate capacity to maintain safety and quality.
* Continuously review and improve the quality and efficacy of clinical practice and care.
Skills and Attributes
* Highly effective communication skills
* Strong organizational skills, able to manage own workload and take responsibility for clinical actions and systems/standards.
* Ability to make complex clinical judgments, manage conflicting views, and reconcile inter and intra-professional differences of opinion.
* Ability to lead specific nursing policy development across the wider health community in conjunction with other agencies.
Working Pattern
37.5 hours per week
Location
The role will be based primarily at Sidmouth with travel to Tiverton
