We’re seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join our client's in-house Architecture team in Birmingham. This is a superb opportunity to work for an employee-focused organisation on high-profile industrial, healthcare, and life science developments, contributing from concept stage right through to construction.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the project delivery team, you’ll:
* Lead detailed design stages and coordinate technical design information.
* Prepare design proposals using Revit, AutoCAD, or ADT.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning constraints, and site-specific covenants.
* Produce high quality NBS specifications and statutory approval documentation.
* Organise and manage technical project information and detail packages.
* Liaise with design and construction teams, attend site meetings, and contribute to risk assessments.
* Support the Project Architect and Head of Architecture with additional duties as and when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience across a range of projects, ideally in industrial, healthcare, or life sciences.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction technology.
* Expertise across all RIBA work stages.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (preferred).
* Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
* A proactive, organised, and team-oriented approach.
