We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 weekends. After working a weekend, you will receive 3.5 days off, so a long weekend back. Part time hours can be negotiated. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The practice is located close to Manchester City Centre and all major transport links. This is an established busy practice with a large loyal client base. They see a wide variety of cases and provided a range of modern veterinary services and facilities with state-of-the-art equipment.
About the role
The practice offers clinical freedom for personal growth and development and encourage the Vet to work up cases from start to finish. The Veterinary Surgeon would have good surgical and diagnostic skills and will be ambitious to develop these further. Support and funding for a certificate is available for the right candidate. The Vet would be working with a team of 2 Vets along with experienced RVNS and support staff.
There is a competitive package available with salary commensurate to experience.

24. You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
25. You will be confident in all areas of routine surgeries and medical cases
26. You will want to contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets
27. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff
