About the role
We're looking for an individual to join our Smart Motorways Places of Relative Safety (PRS) team, delivering multi million packages of works across the South East.
The individual will report to one of the PRS Team Sub-Agents and lead the Site Engineers within their team. The individual will be part of the team managing both self-delivered and sub-contracted works across all highways disciplines.
What you'll be doing
As a Section Engineer, you will have the following accountabilities:
1. Carry out complex setting out
2. Produces Activity Control Plans
3. Identifies and raises Technical Queries with possible solutions
4. Produces Method Statements and Risk Assessments
5. Completes regular H&S inspections
6. Works to specific terms, conditions and outputs of relevant subcontractors and suppliers
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
7. Highways experience
8. Setting out Techniques/experience
9. Understands and has experience of producing ITP's
10. Awareness of Specification and other Contract documents
11. Able to tackles problems head-on and works to resolve.
