GSL Education are currently recruiting for a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to work in schools across Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This is a full-time opportunity, initially on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support children of all ages with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to manage behaviour, build positive relationships, and engage with their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support for students with behavioural difficulties and SEN
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils across different age groups
Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions
Support students both inside and outside of the classroom
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN and behavioural needs
A calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management
Ability to adapt to working with a range of ages and needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Full-time availability is essential
