Your Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will apply your expertise in Systems Engineering principles to radar system development throughout its lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
Core Duties:
* Develop innovative solutions to complex radar system challenges faced by our customers.
* Conduct system design analysis to manage trade-offs and specify robust product designs.
* Champion Systems Engineering principles (ISO 15288) throughout the engineering lifecycle.
* Decompose requirements to system and sub-system levels, managing them in approved tools like IBM DOORS Next.
* Direct system design decomposition and architectural modeling, including interface definitions.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Essential Skills:
* A higher education qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM discipline.
* Progress towards Chartered Engineer status or equivalent capability, with significant relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and holistic approaches to complex design challenges.
* Familiarity with relevant Systems Engineering standards (e.g., ISO 15288, ISO 24641).
* Experience in requirements management and configuration management.
