Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting within the professional services industry. Description Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations. Process invoices, payments, and bank transactions in a timely manner. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Assist with payroll processing and related reporting. Generate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks as required. Work closely with clients to address queries and provide financial information. Ensure all financial data is handled with confidentiality and accuracy.Profile A successful Bookkeeper should have: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. A solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
