Summary

At Hexagon, we are growing through transformation and strategic acquisitions. As part of this journey, we are looking for an experienced finance leader who can help prepare for and support a major integration in a complex international environment. Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence Business Area is seeking an M&A Finance Integration Manager to support pre-close planning and post-close finance integration activities for the Waygate Technologies acquisition. This role will be key to ensuring Day-1 readiness, stabilising finance operations during transition, and enabling a successful long‑term integration. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep finance expertise with a hands‑on mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate across people, processes, systems, and geographies in a fast‑moving matrix organisation. Job Responsibilities

As part of the finance integration effort, you will act as a key partner across multiple functions and geographies to support both planning and execution. Main responsibilities include:

* Lead finance integration activities across pre-close and post-close phases, with a strong focus on Day‑1 preparedness, close mechanics, controls, opening balance sheet, and reporting.
* Act as the single point of accountability for the Finance integration workstream for Waygate Technologies, ensuring delivery against value, timing, compliance, and governance expectations.
* Act as a finance co‑pilot and integration partner to the acquired business during the transition period.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across finance, shared services, legal, IT, compliance, tax, payroll, treasury, and other business functions.
* Design, adapt, and monitor Finance‑focused TSA schedules, service delivery, pricing models, and exit roadmaps across areas such as GL, AP/AR, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, and Reporting.
* Support finance operations including reporting, forecasting, long‑range planning, performance management, and broader F&A‑related activities during the integration journey.
* Partner with Business Area Leadership and business managers to align financial processes with operational needs, drive cost discipline, support margin improvement, and optimise cash performance.
* Establish robust controlling frameworks, KPIs, and executive reporting aligned with Group standards.
* Support ERP, CRM, consolidation tool, and financial systems transition activities, including data migration, opening balance validation, audit readiness, and relevant Day‑1 and Day‑2 milestones.
* Partner with Tax on direct and indirect tax implications of structure changes, and support statutory close readiness across multiple jurisdictions.
* Help assess future organisational needs and contribute to the setup of finance support structures as integration progresses.
* Support external audits, deal completion accounts, post‑close true‑ups, synergy tracking, and value capture reporting.

Qualifications

* Accounting qualification required or strongly preferred (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* 10+ years of experience in finance, with increasing leadership responsibility in an international, matrix, and decentralised organisation.
* Demonstrated experience as VP Finance, Divisional Finance Director, Senior Finance M&A Integration Lead, or in a comparable senior finance integration role.
* Strong background across controlling, FP&A, audit, accounting, shared services, and broader finance operations.
* Significant hands‑on delivery experience across M&A integrations, separations, carve‑outs, Day‑1 readiness, TSA structuring, and post‑merger integration.
* Experience operating in large, complex group structures, ideally at USD 200‑500m revenue scale, and understanding how finance supports end‑to‑end business performance.
* Solid appreciation of business systems and process flows, including ERP, CRM, consolidation tools, data governance, and their interaction across the value chain.
* Professional experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technology‑enabled businesses preferred.
* Track record of working with Corporate M&A, external advisors, executive leadership, and multi‑jurisdictional operating models.
* Ability to balance strategic coordination with hands‑on delivery in a fast‑paced environment and under tight timelines.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
* Fluent English language skills required.
* Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 15‑20%.

Typical Deliverables

* Day‑1 Finance playbook and readiness checklist.
* Execution of the Day‑1 plan for the Finance workstream, including relevant ERP and CRM touchpoints.
* TSA schedule adaptation, pricing models, service monitoring, and exit plans.
* Opening balance sheet, post‑close adjustments, audit readiness, and close support.
* Synergy tracking and value capture reports.
* Board, Executive, and SteCo finance updates.
