About the role
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Penrhyncoch Primary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team for a term and a half. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom and beyond.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide support to pupils, including those with additional needs, helping them access learning and build confidence.
* Work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
* Support the development of Individual Education and Behaviour Plans.
* Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
* Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and wider school activities.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is fluent in both Welsh and English
* Has experience of working with or caring for children.
* Holds relevant qualifications (NVQ 3 or equivalent) and good literacy/numeracy skills.
* Can use ICT effectively to support learning.
* Is positive, flexible, and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
* Understands the importance of safeguarding, inclusion, and teamwork.
