Kreston Reeves is currently hiring a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join on a permanent basis in Horsham or Kent.

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, reporting directly to the Corporate Tax Manager and Corporate Partner, you should have experience and detailed knowledge of UK corporation tax, with a sound understanding of other business taxes to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities. Exposure to international tax issues such as double taxation relief, treaties, transfer pricing, thin capitalization, and CFCs would be advantageous. Familiarity with Alphatax, CCH Central, Caseware, Digita, and Microsoft Office is beneficial.

The role involves managing a varied portfolio of corporate clients, primarily office-based with occasional client visits and travel between offices in West Sussex and Kent.

The main objectives are to oversee and maintain the annual CT compliance service for clients.

Responsibilities include:

* Reviewing and preparing complex corporation tax returns and computations
* Assisting with ad hoc advisory queries and larger projects
* Training and supervising junior staff
* Assisting with tax marketing

Requirements:

* CTA qualification with 2-3 years post-qualification experience or qualified by experience
* Attention to detail
