Job purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to provide technical leadership within our consultancy, focusing on delivering and overseeing high quality ecological work.
Responsibilities
* You will work closely with our team of ecologists, mentoring and supporting them to develop their skills whilst maintaining strong technical standards.
* You will also work alongside the Business Manager in supporting the development of the consultancy business, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing procedures to improve efficiency.
* Delivery of high quality ecological services and contributing to strategy and procedures as part of the Trust's aims.
About You / Qualifications
* A minimum of five years professional experience in ecological consultancy and educated to degree level in an ecological/environmental subject
* A passion for wildlife conservation and practical ecological application
* Excellent communication and report writing skills
* Good time and project management skills
* A wide understanding of ecological issues and a holder of multiple protected species licences
* A full UK driving licence
