PURPOSE The Senior Marketing Executive works with the NMG marketing team to deliver effective marketing campaigns across the portfolio. They will produce high-quality marketing material and coordinate marketing activities to ensure campaigns are on schedule and within budget. This role uses multiple marketing channels and requires effective communication skills to build effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners. This role would suit a marketer that has been a marketing executive for at least two years and enjoys being busy and productive. They need to be able to multi-task, be organised, and takes responsibility and pride in their work. It would especially suit someone who likes to work in a team but relishes the challenge of running solo campaigns too. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES analyse previous results and devise campaign plans to reach the desired target numbers. execute a multi-channel marketing effectively and this includes running several plans concurrently. produce high-quality, response-driven marketing campaigns that integrate online and offline marketing activities, using a full range of cost-effective and targeted promotional techniques (including direct marketing, advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, PPC, paid social, live events, webinars, reader surveys etc.). and monitors registration, email, social channels, and website performance to understand what is driving attribution. Regularly reports this and uses this information to tailor on-going campaigns. tracks marketing spend accurately and ensures adherence to agreed budgets. and edits high-quality, compelling copy, which is accurate and grammatically correct, making sure that all printed and online communications demonstrate the defined value proposition for the brand. and maintains all relevant marketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and defined commercial needs. closely with and regular updates, the Senior Marketing Manager and marketing team on activity, campaign progress and potential concerns relating to activity and workload. and maintains effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party partners via telephone, written communication, and face-to-face meetings, ensuring marketing activity is fully aligned to the needs of the portfolio. industry awareness and audience understanding (visitor, exhibitor, reader etc), identifying key competitors, monitoring industry news and market trends. SUCCESS MEASURES closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and the Group Marketing Director to deliver marketing across the portfolio. pro-active and takes responsibility for products and projects. create ample time to plan campaigns effectively throughout the year. aware of the bigger picture and works with line manager to develop compelling brand propositions for each brand product to ensure targets are achieved. high quality marketing materials requiring minimal edits/amendments which align with the value proposition for each of their defined products. an understanding of the events cycle and the subsequent workload peaks and troughs. a deep understanding of audience and products.
