Job Description
3. Responsible for managing and developing a UK and European team a mix of finance and non finance members
4. Manage the reporting of company financial position whether through internal management accounts, group reporting or statutory accounts; all within defined timescales.
5. Run month end account processes and prepare management accounts as required.
6. Investigate and providing commentary around variance analysis.
7. Developing commercial reporting
8. Prepare internal weekly/monthly reporting as required and any reporting or analysis as required by Europe
9. Responsible for all matters related to Fixed Assets including all reporting, leases, insurance valuation and asset tracking and verification
10. Responsible for all aspects the General Ledger including balancing of control accounts
11. Lead in all taxation matters, seeking support and advice as required.
12. Prepare/Assist yearly submissions for HMRC as required e.g. PSA, STBV etc
13. Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Regional Finance Manager should have:
14. Qualified Accountant
15. Minimum of five year experience in a finance management role, preferably in a multinational
16. Knowledge of local and international accounting standards
17. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
18. Experience of leadership and team management
19. Strong systems skills including ERP system exposure
20. Excellent communication skills
21. Knowledge of the automotive industry
