Document Controller
Location: Office Based in Three Legged Cross | Fridays Working from Home
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Contract Type: Permanent Position
Holt Engineering are recruiting for a Document Controller to join a growing project-based business. This role is focused on managing technical documentation, drawing revisions, and project information across live construction and technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control project documentation, technical drawings, revisions, and records across multiple live projects
Maintain Common Data Environment (CDE) systems and document workflows
Ensure teams are working from the latest approved drawings and documentation
Upload, distribute, track, and archive project information across internal and cloud-based systems
Maintain document registers, trackers, transmittals, and revision histories
Support ISO19650 information management standards and document control procedures
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to coordinate project information
Assist with O&M manuals, handover packs, and final project documentation
Monitor and improve document control processes and workflow systems
Required Experience & Skills
Previous experience as a Document Controller, Information Controller, or similar
Strong understanding of Common Data Environments (CDEs)
Knowledge of ISO19650 standards and information management processes
Experience managing technical drawings and revision control
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Able to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
Construction, engineering, architecture, or project-based industry experience preferred
