Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid - 2-3 days in-office)
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 DOE
Overview
An established retail business in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a Marketplace Marketing Lead to manage advertising, listings, and promotional strategies across platforms like Amazon and Walmart. The role focuses on driving revenue through data-led campaigns, listing optimisation, and effective collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage seasonal and always-on campaigns (e.g. Prime Day, Black Friday) across Amazon and other marketplaces.
Optimise listings - titles, bullet points, imagery, and A+ content - to boost visibility and conversions.
Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and search trends to refine targeting and improve forecasting.
Align advertising with stock levels, pricing, and promotional calendars in collaboration with Merchandising and Finance.
Brief creative teams and integrate marketplace activity into broader marketing campaigns.
Track performance, report insights, and adjust strategies to maximise ROI.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
At least 2 years' experience managing Amazon advertising (Seller or Vendor Central).
Strong data skills with a commercial mindset.
Confident communicator and team collaborator.
Proficient in tools like Amazon Brand Analytics or Intentwise.Desirable:
Experience with Amazon DSP or Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).
Multi-channel marketing background.
Knowledge of ad automation or ERP/marketing platforms.Success Indicators:
Maintaining TACOS under 2%
Improved CTRs and conversion rates
Growth in impressions and clicks
Accurate forecasting and campaign alignment with stock and pricing
