Pay Rate: £95.29 - £110.00 per day
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Collyhurst. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in pupils' academic progress and personal development during an important stage of their education.
The school provides a warm, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Some pupils have additional learning needs or SEN, and the role offers the chance to provide meaningful, tailored support on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
As part of a collaborative staff team, you will be trusted to take initiative, support learning effectively, and contribute positively to the classroom environment.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support across Key Stage 2
Support the class teacher with lesson delivery, planning, and assessment
Deliver structured interventions to support pupils with SEN or additional needs
Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
Help create a safe, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
Support pupils' academic development and emotional wellbeingRequirements
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
Good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
A strong commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeingTo Be Eligible for This Role, You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
