We arerecruiting highly motivated candidates to join our Project ManagementApprenticeship Scheme who want to make a difference and develop their skills inthe world of Engineering.
You will bejoining the Electrification Automation business within Smart Infrastructure -responsible for delivering high voltage switchgear with its associatedprotection and control systems and services into our UK customer base.
Part of beingan apprentice at Siemens means you get to work on real life projects whilstbeing supported on a guided learning journey. This will be a 3 yearapprenticeship where you will complete the Level 4 Associate Project Managerstandard.
Your learningwill be supported throughout your programme by Siemens mentors and by one ofour training partners who will be the apprenticeship provider.
As a ProjectManagement Apprentice, here is a taste of what you can expect:
1. Following your off-site induction week you willimmediately begin integrating into the Siemens community and embark on a seriesof departmental placements within Electrification Automation at our Hebburnsite.
2. As part of the programme you will complete theProject Management qualification from the International Project ManagementAssociation (IPMA D).
3. You will also undertake your apprenticeship EndPoint Assessment in your final year.
Throughout theapprenticeship you will continue to learn and develop your competences in areassuch as:

What do I needto apply?
Thisapprenticeship requires a blend of disciplines and the ideal candidate willhave a keen interest in electrical engineering and is also looking to developin a role which will not only challenge them technically but also develop theirproject management skills with a view to becoming a Project Manager.
We are lookingfor forward thinking, innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstratethe following:
12. You will have achieved at least 5 GCSE'sgrade 4 or above including Maths and English Language and you will haveachieved, or be on track to achieve, 3 A Levels (or a Level 3 BTEC) at grade Bor above, one of which must be a numerate subject.
