Our client, a boutique and very successful family-owned privacy consultancy is looking for a part-time CFO to join their tight-knit team.

With incorporated operations in UK, US and Caribbean, and considerable growth expected (mostly outside the UK), this is a new role with plenty of scope!
\n\n
\n\t
* Part-time, initially 2-3 days per week by mutual agreement; the role will likely grow over time
\n\t
* Flexible hours and location but will require at least one day per week in London office
\n\t
* May be required to travel internationally (unlikely to be frequent)
\n\t
* Working very closely with the CEO
\n\t
* Supported by founder’s EA; Directors; retained accountants in all jurisdictions; senior management team
\n
\n\n
Responsibilities of the CFO will include:
\n\n
\n\t
* Supervise book-keeping
\n\t
* Manage cashflow between entities in multiple currencies
\n\t
* Maximise treasury return
\n\t
* Authorise and schedule supplier and staff payments
\n\t
* Maintain bank reconciliation
\n\t
* Produce management accounts
\n\t
* Liaise with accountants in multiple countries for preparation of statutory accounts and returns including corporate taxation
\n\t
* Maintain corporate records and filings
\n\t
* Support family investment activity including assistance with due diligence
\n\t
* Cash and profit forecasting
\n\t
* Investment and return modelling
\n
\n\n
What we are looking for in a CFO:
\n\n
\n\t
* A brilliant individual who possesses business and commercial acumen with previous experience of multinational, multi-currency operations, ideally in a professional services environment.
\n\t
* 10 years of experience
\n\t
* CIMA or ACA
\n\t
* Previous experience of multinational, multicurrency operations, ideally in a professional services environment
\n\t
* Familiarity with hands-on use of cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Xero)
\n\t
* Small family office and/or alternative investment experience an advantage
\n\t
* Enthusiasm for biscuits and general snacks!
