Shift pattern: 37 hours per week, rotational shifts. Effective 1 April 2026 the full‑time hours will reduce to 36 hours.
This role is part of the ECMS – Medical Specialities teams within the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Ward 27. We are looking for staff currently working as a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker in an NHS environment.
Responsibilities include supporting assessment, planning and delivery of specialist care, engaging in a positive ward culture, supporting the clinical team, engaging in care programmes to enhance the patient journey and contributing towards positive outcomes using the Excellence in Care framework. You will report to the Senior Charge Nurse and be expected to work independently, be supported by colleagues and remain engaged in productive team dynamics.
Requirements: Current experience as a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker in an NHS setting, ability to engage positively and creatively within the organisation, and a commitment to delivering high quality care. The role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa; no CoS will be provided.
