The Role: The Project Finance & Controls Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile programme within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the delivery of complex and strategically important projects. The position provides broad exposure across programme finance, operational controls, customer engagement, and performance management, while working alongside experienced stakeholders across Finance, PMO, and Programme teams. The Project Finance & Controls Manager will be responsible for Finance Business Operational Control within a new programme. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of contract obligations, financial reporting, and programme performance management within complex project environments. The role will interface regularly with the customer, supporting the effective management of billing activities, CDRLs, KPIs, proposals, amendments, and wider programme financial controls. Responsibilities will also include supporting Earned Value Management (EVM), financial performance reporting, forecasting, and operational control activities across NSS and Space programmes, working closely with the PMO and wider programme teams to drive successful delivery and commercial performance.
